I made QSO with Timothy NL8F on 17m in FT8 this morning. Every QSO with Alaska makes me very happy. I was even more surprised after a QSO with Timothy when I looked at his location:

That's great! As I remember I have never had any contact with this part of Alaska before.
I made new contacts with maritime mobile stations after a longer time..
The first one with Gennadiy UR7FM/MM on 28,075 MHz in FT8 mode on April 20, 2024. I asked Gennadiy to write me his locator via email. The vessel was located in JF95 grid - South Africa running from China to Kamsar in Guinea. Gennadiy was using 5W from Xiegu X6100 with 10m long EFHW antenna via 1:49 balun.
