Worked BX8AAN/MM in the south Atlantic

Another nice maritime mobile contact in my log!

I worked BX8AAN/MM in FT8 on 30m. He was transmitting from M.V. Global Winner located close to Brasilian coast in the south Atlantic.

UNISON STAR (IMO: 9579391) is a Bulk Carrier that was built in 2011 and is sailing under the flag of Liberia. Carrying capacity is 38190 t DWT and her current draught is 9.8 meters. Overall length is 189 meters and width is 30.36 meters.

It was night there and already morning here..

I was pushing 50W to my EFHW antenna as usually on digi modes..

Veľký Milič 895m ASL is a mountain on the Slovak-Hungarian border in the Slanské vrchy / Slanske mountains. It is the highest peak of the Hungarian mountain range Zempléni-hegység.

Veľký Milič National Nature Reserve was declared a state nature reserve in 1967.

About 500 meters from the main peak, there is the Károly Lookout (Károlyi-kilátó) on a secondary peak, which provides views of the landscape. The lookout tower is 16.8 m high, and its highest accessible part for tourists is at a height of 11 meters.
